Job Update.

I really should have posted this yesterday but didn't, anyway, Ron started his new job yesterday at another game company here in Orem called Wahoo Studios. They're a smaller company and also make x box 360 arcade games. I have to say that it's been the smoothest job transistion ever and we don't have to move and it's so much closer than Chair was! All very good things.

After he got home last night, I'm a lot less excited...their insurance plan sucks in huge ways. They do it through this company called A Plus and they're ridiculously expensive and the deductables are really high. This makes me very sad, I'll also be uninsured for a month, this is not such a good thing when 7 months pregnant. I'll also have to see how much it will be to pay form my anti depressants out of pocket. Now that they're starting to work again and I feel much better I sure don't want to stop taking them for a month.

I'm a bad blogger

I've been telling myself everyday that I need to sit down and blog but keep putting it off or am just to tired. Life has been pretty crazy recently, lots of exciting things going on over here.

Last Monday I got to go to the hospital to labor and delivery. I started having contractions on Sat night and they last through the weekend. I got barely any sleep because they went on all night. They wern't regular but they were strong enough to be painful. So I called my Dr's office last monday morning to see if I could make an appt to go in and have her check me to make sure I wasn't dialating. I was pretty sure they were Braxton Hicks but they just wern't stopping and changing position or what I was doing didn't make them go away and the Dr did tell me that with consecutive pregnancies they could get stronger and start earlier. Anyway, the nurse talked to the Dr and she wanted me to go to labor and delivery to have the contractions charted and to get a fetalfibronectin test to make sure I wasn't going into pre term labor. So I had Ron come home early from work and went and spent 3 hours in labor and delivery. The fetal fibronectin test came back negative, thankfully. So it was as I thought just very strong Braxton Hicks. I really hate being pregnant especially when I'm having contrations for 3 1/2 months before delevering the damn baby!

I've had so little patience recently, I feel bad for the girls. I feel like a terrible mother for yelling at them what feels like constantly. I started taking my anti depressants again so I'm hoping that they'll help. My house is also a huge freakin mess which dosn't help my state of mind much. Cleaning is such and ordeal and hurts so it's just not getting done. Here we are on the 13th day into the new year and I still haven't taken down my Christmas tree!

This monday Ron was scheduled to go in for a colonoscopy to check for Chron's Disease. For the past year he's been having random joint swelling and pain and they can't seem to figure out what's going on with him. He's had x rays and endless lab tests but they still don't know what's causing the swelling. So his rheumatologist wanted him to get the conlonscopy done. So we took him in monday morning at 10. The girls and I had to go with and wait for him while he had it done because it'd done under sedation and he wouldn't be able to drive afterwards.

About 45 mins after he went back a nurse came into the waiting room to get me and we all trooped back to the recovery room, or rather the recovery cubicle. The Dr promptly comes out and tells me that they didn't find anything indicating Chron's Disease but did find that his appendix was extremely infected and pussing, acute appendicitis. They wanted to send him over for a CT scan to confirm the diagnosis and remove it. Ron of course is still knocked out. We got him into a wheel chair wheeled him outside and across the parking lot to the building next door where the CT and MRI machines lived. Ron woke up, literally, when they came out to take him in for his scan. I quickly had to fill him in on what was going on. The girls and I waited some more.

After the scan he was wheeled back across the parking lot to the surgery center and back to the recovery cubicle to ready him for the appendectomy. 4 different people came in to tell us what was going to happen and explain the procedure to us. I had to sign a bunch of paper work, giving permission for the surgery, permission for blood transfusions if things went wrong and several other things. They took him in for his surgery and the girls and I finally got to leave for awhile to get some lunch, drop off perscriptions and go home and rest for awhile. Anyway, we finally got to bring him home at 10 that night. The girls were surprising well behaved, or as well behaved as children can be when they have to sit and be good for hours on end. But the whole experience did me in, I think I'm still recovering form the insanity of it all.

He's recovering well, there haven't been any complications, of course he's in a lot of pain and can't work for the week but he's getting better each day and tomorrow he can take a shower. In the mean time I have another person to take care of...

We still have freaking mice! I've caught 8 of the damn things and there. are. still. more!! How many freakin mice are in my house!?! They are, seriously, driving me insane! I can here them all the time in the walls scratching and gnawing, scurrying and fighting and squeaking. Fortunately, they have stopped scratching and gnawing in the wall behind my bed at night. They were doing that for a few weeks, in the wall right behind my head. It kept me up, it's hard to go to sleep listening to the creepy little things right behind your head. I think I'm developing a mouse phobia.

We've been using the glue traps and I have to say they work really well. But as much as I hate the damn things now I feel horrible guilt having to dispose of them alive...I feel like an awful person but having small children I don't feel comfortable having the typical snap traps laying around my house.

So this has been my life recently, dealing with mice, lots of contractions, guilt for being an animal torturer, guilt at my impatience with my children, taking care of a sick post operative husband and feeling like crap!

One giant step...

I've been meaning to post for the past couple days but I got side tracked reading this really awesome book that was suggested to me by a blogging friend, I've been totally engrossed!

Anyway, on Monday Ron and I went to the county clerks office and got our marriage license. So now we've got 30 days to make it official. I don't think I'm really going to make a big deal out of it, I just don't have the energy to make a huge production out of it. I just kinda want it all to be over with. Seriously, I'm so exhausted all the time that just thinking about it makes me even more tired.

So, I'm thinking we'll probably just go back to the clerks office and have it solomized there and then go out to dinner with the family or something. Maybe have a small reception next spring when I'm not pregnant. Because I know Elise would be upset if we didn't do something to celebrate the blessed event.

2 more days until Twilight...I need to get a black shirt. There's a dress code for the group ;)

More sadness...

More sad news. My little nephew, Tito, has been in Oakland Children's Hospital now for almost 2 weeks. He was hospitalized earlier in the month with severe dehydration and pnemonia and was in for about a week. He was sent home once they got his fever to break and he started eating again. He was of course sent home with anti biotics, took those for a week but they didn't do anything. When he was done taking those and still wasn't coughing and started getting a fever again my sister took him back to the emergency room and they sent them to the Children's Hospital.

They did x rays and tests and discovered that his left lung was collapsed because he had so much fluid in his chest cavity and they intubated him to drain the fluid. They took the tubes out 2 days ago and were going to send him home but he now has air in his chest that is collapsing his lung and the fever has come back. They have him on oxygen to try to get the air to move/leave his chest cavity. So it looks like they're not going to get to go home after all. My poor sister has been living at the hospital with him for the past 13 days and poor Tito had to spend his birthday sick in the hospital with tubes in his chest. Thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully I'll have some good things to post about soon. I took a bunch of picture of the girls playing in the leaves yesterday, I'll try to get those pictures posted this evening.

I'm going back to school.

I think I've finally decided what it is I want to do with my life. I know, about time, right!? But I guess it's better late than never. Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to go back to school to become a midwife. I've been thinking about becoming a nurse for years but I think that a midwife would be a much better fit for me.

So, I guess this surprise pregnancy has brought along some benefits already. I've decided to go natural this time, use a midwife and go to a birthing center, and while I was researching the birthing centers I came across the one that I'm going to use and saw that they do midwifery training there and from the birthing center I found out about the MCU, Midwives College of Utah, and it all just kinda came together for me! I'm really excited about this and it just feels right. Now all I've got to do is find the money...

The Judge.

Today we became gun owners.  There was a gun show this weekend in SL and Ron and Jeff went.  He bought The Judge  this is a .45 snub nose revolver with 5 chambers that you can shoot either .410 3 inch magnums, 2.5 inch shot gun shells or, of course, .45 ammunition.  Pretty kick ass, right? Another really cool feature of the gun is that it gives you a special little key so that you can lock the hammer, no accidental shootings.  Of course we're still going to keep it in a locked gun case and teach our girls about gun saftey.

So why, you may ask, are we becoming gun owners now?  Ron is convinced that our society is headed towards a total collapse, at first I didn't really believe him much but the more time goes by and the worse and more messed up things get, the less I'm doubting him at all.  We've also been building up our food storage like crazy.  It's always best to be prepared for the worst, right?

This whole fall of society is both a horrible and fantastic thing to contemplate.  It's kinda like a train wreck for me, not really something that I want to think about but just can't look away from either.  In so many ways thing would be better and in so many ways they would be worse.  I just have a feeling that something's coming, looming just over the horizon.

Anyway, enough doomsday predictions for one day.  This weekend seems to have a lot of weight to it.  An old friend of mine Kristy is having her first baby today, and is pushing as I write this.  Another woman I know, Stephanie, tomorrow would have been her daughter, Camilles',  2nd birthday.  She drown in their hot tub last June when she was 14 months old.  Another woman I know, today is her birthday, and she hates her birthday, I mean really HATES it and has since she was 4.  So this weekend is heavy for me, my mind is full of so many turning points, milestones and different achievements.

Ok, well I'm going for now.  Ron brought me home a wild boar sandwich from Cabellas that I'm going to try.  It's been so long since I've had wild boar that I don't even remember if I like it or not.

Hello all

It's been a few days.  Easter weekend was nothing special really, Eden was sick all weekend with fevers and clingy, she's all better now though.  Me being the scatter brain that I am didn't bother getting the girls their baskets till Saturday night, huge mistake!  I know not ever to do that again.  I swear to you the candy isle was completely bare at the wallmart, completly.  Hardly any easter stuff left at all so I had to go with the premade ones.  Which didn't really end up being to bad, I found 2 that had the same stuff in them but in different colors.  They had flip flops, a purse, some little hair things and then, of course, the candy. I also had some really cute little lunch boxes that I'd bought sometime back for them. They're pink with this dancing little poodle on them and I did find a couple bags of chocolate eggs and other little bits and pieces.  They were quite happy.

Eden's turned into quite the chatter box, all the time talking jabbering away at everyone and her toys about, who knows what.  She's started standing up on her own and balancing with out holding on and she's quite proud of this accomplishment.

The other 2 well they always are just a handful.  I've been sick these past couple days and I mean sick, fever sick.  I seem to be getting sick an awful lot these past couple months, I think depression must weaken your immune system or something.

Yesterday, we got a 48 shut off notice from the gas company left at the house.  Ron's taken over paying the bills so I blame him.  I went online to pay it and somehow or other we owe them $400!!!  But last week Ron said he was smelling gas and turned off the water heater and the next day when he went to turn it on the pilot wouldnt' light...so I called the landlord though out the weekend and he didn't get back to me until Monday, saying that he didn't get the message until that morning.

So he comes out to look at the water heater and calls the gas man to come out and check for gas leaks around the house.  Anyway, turns out there were 3 leaks, one from outside where the line comes into the house, another at the furnace and then of couse the water heater.  Also, the water control burner plate thing was broken so we had to get that replaced.  I'm think all these leaks could very well have contributed to our so high bills.  That and the fact that we're still paying them off from our Lehi house.

So yeah, anyway, our life has been pretty freakin boring as of late.  I'm still waiting for warmer weather and it's so upsetting when it's warm (read 65-70, which is warm when you've been dealing with 12-35 degree temps all winter) for a day and then the temp drops back down again and snows or gets rainy.  It's dreary and rainy out to day as well and so far the highlight of my day was watching a bird, though my kitchen window, eat a huge worm.  Quite fasinating, really.

I see a light

So I had a Dr's appt this morning and I'm ver happy with the way that it went.  I really like my new Dr.  I got a female this time, not that I didn't like my old Dr but I just felt that a female would understand my problems and have more empathy than a male and my old Dr is in Plesant Grove, not really to covienant to Orem.

Anyway, I'm really happy with the way it went, I got to talk to the Dr and a NP that she's training and it was great!  They perscribed me a new anti depressant, wellbutrin, and if this stuff is as good as it sounds than I'll be all set.  It's not an SSRI (selective seretonin reuptake inhibator) it's a norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibator.  It's supposed to affect the pleasure centers of the brain and help with motivation, something I've been severly lacking.  It's also supposed to help with chronic fatigue and get rid of the sexual disfunction I've been having (sorry if that's TMI).  So I'm really hoping it works, I've got my fingers crossed!

I also got a prescription for my headaches/migraines that I'm happy about too.  It's called fioricet...so if any of you have any experience with it, I'd love to hear your feedback.  The biggest plus of it is that it's safe to use while nursing, woo hoo!

So, today I have a brighter outlook than I did yesterday and I am starting to see some light.  Also, my income tax return was deposited in my bank account this morning, woo hoo!  What a day, I think I'm going to buy a sewing machine tonight :)

Where to start...

So, it's only been 3 days since I've blogged but so much has happened in that time that I'm not sure where I should start.  I guess the beginning is the best place.  On Friday the 12th my little girl, Emi, turned 4.  Mauri came and picked her up and took her to play with Katelyn and Ellie for a few hours.  Ron actually got to come home at a semi decent time and after we dropped off his co worker, Donald, in Lehi we went to the Asian Buffet.  Emi wanted to go to the "sushi store" for dinner.  After dinner we went to Wal Mart and got...
Emi's new princess bike!!  She was so happy to get it and rode it all though the store while we did our shopping and even rode it out of the store back to the car.  She did get a little scared in the parking lot though when there was a car coming at her so she freaked out a little bit and ended up falling off of it, without injury though.

Saturday we had her party and had to run around and get all the stuff we needed for it during the day.  It was a nice party, the family and Mauri came and we had pizza because that's what Emi wanted.  She got lots of really nice presants, her favorite being the Tinkerbell art kit that her uncle Jeff and aunt Elise got for her.  She loves it so much that the watercolor paints that came in it are almost all gone!  She really likes her new clothes too, she got a really nice pair of pink cordory pants from her grandma Kathy that have some flowers embroidered on the bottom of one of the pant legs and another pair of leopard print pants from aunt Dannielle she's been alternating between the two of them since she got them.

Sunday,  I had really bad cramps, menstral type cramps but don't have my period. I've also been sooo tired.  I'm not really to sure what's going on but am hoping it's nothing serious.  But Ron and I watched the 4th season of Lost together (we actually started it saturday night) and it was great to get to see him.  He was working late all last week to meet a deadline and coming home between 12 and 2 every night/morning.  So we were only really seeing him for maybe 30-45 mins each day.  So it was really nice to cuddle up and spend time with him.

Monday, yesterday, started off like any other.  I still had really bad mestural type cramping and the girls were a bit wilder than usual, but I think they're getting cabin fever.  It's been really, really cold out and they haven't been able to go outside like they used to.  Ron got to come home at 7, it's so great getting him home again at normal times! The girls were crawling all over him and then I gave them a bath and put them to bed.  I then sent Ron to the store to get diapers.

I started to get a feeling that something wasn't right after about 20 mins, I was just feeling really anxious so I called him.  His phone rang and rang and then it sounded like someone answered it and then hung up.  So I waited a little bit longer...after he was gone for an hour I really knew something was wrong.  I was thinking that he'd been in an accident  been hurt, all the millions of terrible things that could possibly happen to someone when they're driving at night on icy roads.  I started trying to call him again but his phone was turned off, just going straight to voice mail.

Ok, trying to stay calm.  I went back down stairs with Eden and continued watching the movie I'd been watching and worry some more.  Then I heard my phone ringing up stairs and was sprinting up the stairs but wasn't able to get to it in time.  It was an unrecognizable 800 number and no message was left, weird.  Taking my phone I went back down stairs.  More movie watching and more worrying and lots of getting up and pacing.  About 1/2 an hour later another call from the mystery 800 number I answered it and a pre recorded voice was telling me that I had a collect call from an inmate at the correctional facility and would I accept a collect call from Ron O'Hara.  Unfortuantly I have a cell phone and was unable to accept.  But it gave me a number to call back.  I called the jail and they told me that Ron had been picked up on a warrant for driving without insurance (this is from right after we moved to utah and into the house in Lehi) and told me that he could be bailed out and what I needed to do.

Ok, I enter full on freak out mode...trying to calm myself down I started calling around trying to find the van, being sure that it had been impounded.  Not having any success there I decided to start looking up bonds men.  I did a search on google and randomly picked a number and called the guy.  As I started to explain to him what was going on he was just like oh, yeah, I've been talking with him and you just need to come get him out, pay $100 and that would be that.  He told me that he'd tried to call me but had written down the wrong number...how crazy is it that out of all the bonds places google pulled up I just happened to call the one who Ron had been talking to!

So, I need to get him out of jail.  I'm at home, with no car with 3 sleeping children.  Ok, call his mom  it goes straight to her voicemail, so I leave her a message telling her to call me back immediatly.  I'm sure I sounded pretty frantic despite my efforts to keep myself calm.  My thought processes wern't working so well, basically all that was going though my head was "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit" over and over again.  It's like 10:30 at this time (I'd sent him out at 8:30) so I called Jeff, unfortunatly waking him up, so sorry about that Jeff!  But I'm glad that I called him, because then I found out that Kathy had left her phone at Utah Press that morning.

She dosn't have her phone!!!???  Ok, pace around some more and wonder what in the world I'm going to do to get him home!!!  Get myself calmed down a bit and decide to call Tim and Dannielle to see if they have a number that I could call her at WesCorp with.  They don't but tell me that she should be getting off work soon and that they would go over to her house and wait for her to come home so that she could call me.

5 mins after I get off the phone with them Kathy sends me an IM saying that she got my message what was going on.  I didn't find this out till after Ron got home but she had stopped at the grocery store on her way home from work to check her messages, Thank God!!! And Tim and Dannielle wern't even at her house yet.  So I told her what was going on and gave her the number of the bondsman so that she coud go and pick him up.

Amazing woman that she is, drove though the snow to the jail in Provo and got him out! Drove him back to the wal mart, they didn't impound the car!!!  He bought diapers and got home about 2:30.  I am so greatful for so many things!  It could have been so much worse, because he had the warrant for the no insuarnce thing his license had been suspended but all the officer did was take him in on the warrant.  Didn't site him for driving on a suspended license or for the cars registration being expired and he didn't have the car impounded!  God bless him!  He got home and I hugged him just so thankful to have him home and that he was ok.  That I was able to get everything worked out and get him home.  That he hadn't been in an accident that he wasn't lying on the side of the road dead.

And thinking about it today I'm noticing all the little things that made it all work out.  Me calling him when I just knew something was going on, calling the right bondsman out of the 15 that google gave me numbers for, Kathy stopping at the grocery store on her way home from work to check her messages...all the little ways that the Lord made it alright, making the best out of a bad situation.  I couldn't be more greatful or thankful.

So, that brings us to today...today my grandmother died.  They say she was in no pain and resting peacefully.  I'm glad for that, she's been in so much pain this last little while.  I'm so glad that she could go without anymore suffering and that she's isn't in anymore pain.  It still hurts to know she's gone, and that I couldn't say goodbye or see her or tell her how much I love her one last time.  How much she ment to me and how much I was thankful to her for all her help raising my sister and I when my mom was working all the time.  I hope she knows that.

I've been saying thank you a lot recently, thank you too all my loved ones and family for all the help, love and support they've been givng me in these really hard times I've been going through recently.  Again, thank you to all my friends and family, to all my loved ones, Thank you!  I can't ever say thank you enough or express how much it means to me.

That brings

Tender Mercies

I just read a post today on another blog that I follow about Tender Mercies. I've never heard of these before but think they are my new favorite thing. I've been sitting here thinking about them all day and noticing/realizing them all, all the ones I've had over the past month or so when I thought I was going to lose it.

For those of you who don't know, tender mercies, are what the mormons refer to, as Stephanie put it, mini miracles. Most of the time they seem like coincidences that lift us up in some way or other. Small boosts that keep us going, that let us know that we are loved. Words of encouragement from a friend or hearing a song that lifts your heart when you're down.

I think these are wonderful things and I am starting to feel so very greatful for them this past few months. I've been going over a list of them in my head all day and again just wanted to say thank you too a few people.

Most especially, Jeff and Elise, for being so very great to us, for taking us into your home and letting us stay with you and invade on your space. For borrowing the trailer form Jeff's work so that we could use it to move, for helping us pack and haul it all into it, for storing the trailer at your house and driving it to the new one and helping us unpack it. For having Matt and Meg come and help out. For just being you. Even though Annie broke Elise's cell phone and the girls somehow broke their wedding picture frame some time when I wasn't looking. You guys are most definatly one of my tender mercies!

To Kathy, Dannielle, Tim and Katie, for helping me pack when I was so overwhelmed by everything and coming back again to help us move out. To Kathy, for hosting Thanksgiving dinner and bringing toys over to Jeff and Elise's house for the girls, for going to wal mart and buying diapers for me when I ran out

To Jodi, for getting me out of my head and letting me come craft with her. For driving to pick me up and help her and for being a good friend.

To Mauri for being such a good friend and neighbor. I'm really going to miss having you right next door.

To my mom and sister who are always there for me.

And to all my friends who have given me words of encouragement and support these last few months when I have really needed them.

Thank you, thank you, thank you all!!

I hope I haven't left anyone out. I love you all!

Tuesday morning...

It's been a couple of days since my last post, everyday I've ment to write but it's just seemed like it was an insurmountable task.  There's just been so much going on that I've just kinda needed some quite time.  Not that I've gotten any.

Last weekend my neighbor and good frined Mauri, her sister Jenna and their mom Darla walked in the 3 day 60 mile walk for the cure in Arizona.  My thoughts were on them and their journey all weekend.  From their blog posts and the pictures it really looks like it was a truly amazing experience, with lots of pink everywhere and lots of support from the community.  You guys are amazing and I love you!

My landlord called me again yesterday, but Ron says I'm not to talk to him and if he comes to the house I'm to tell him "I don't know" to everything.  He wants $3,000 from us and told me that the house will be closing either the 26th or something.  It's a good thing we found a new home, I just don't know that our new house will be ready in time.  I still haven't seen it and it makes me a little nervous.  I'm sure it's fine but it's kinda weird to move into some place you've never seen.

Ugh, it just feels that there's so much to do and so little time to do it all in.  Ron's been working till 9 every night for the past few weeks.  So I've had little help with the girls, they're in bed and sleeping when he gets home.  I need to get all the packing done.

I guess Ron is right, I have no coping skills, I just get so overwhelmed when everything comes at me all at once.

Dragging...

So I'm feeling pretty weighted down today, emotionally.  So I thought I would post some inspiring quotes and say thank you to my friends and family who have left such loving encouraging comments...you are very appreciated!

"Whenever you feel the need or wish to cheer yourself, think about all of the good qualities of those who are around you-the energy of one, for instance, the modesty of another, the generosity of a third, and some other gift of a fourth.  For nothing is ever so cheering as the images of the qualities shining though in the character of those who live with us...Have these images then ever before your eyes."
-Marcus Aurelius

" Friendships multiply joys and divide griefs."
-Thomas Fuller

"No one has a right to consume happiness without producing it"
-Helen Keller

Ok so these are my inspiring thoughts to live up to today.  Hope that they might give some of you others some inspiration as well.

Winter is here.

It feels like winter is finally here.  It's been really cold the past couple of days and we had a snow storm on tuesday night there was at least 3 inches.   It all pretty much melted yesterday but there's a few lingering patches.  It's been in the 20-30's the past couple of days, I don't know when I'm going to get used to this cold weather, hopefully sooner rather than later.

I'm still feeling pretty stressed out by everything.  I had a migraine last night and it was awful, I could feel it coming on as we went to Wal Mart.  By the time we got home it was pretty much full blown.  I took some sleeping pills and went to bed at 8:30.  I'm still feeling pretty off this morning, fuzzy headed and my head is still achey.  I just want to crawl back in bed and go to sleep.  But of course being mom I had to get up and face the day, no matter how crappy I feel.

Eden is really amazing me, the child is going to be crawing in a week or 2.  She's just turned 5 months and already she's ready to crawl.  She's getting up and rocking back and forth on her hands and knees and she's been lunging herself forward...it's definatly time to get the baby gates out.

Emi has been in helper mode and wants to be "a good girl and a good helper for mommy".  She of course still has her moments but she's been very helpful around the house this past week.  She's also been helping Beeba with alot of things.  She's very sweet going around telling us all she loves us all the time and cuddling in our laps.  She's getting so big, I can't belive she's about to turn 4.  She says that she wants to get her ears pierced for her birthday, I've told her that it's going to hurt, but she wants to do it.  I'm hoping that I can find some place that'll do both ears at the same time.  My sister, Ginette, was 5 when she got hers done and they did one side and she didn't want anymore of it, it took us a whole week to convince her to go and get the other side done.

Annie want's to be a princess.  One of Emi's favorite games is to run away from "the Beeba monster".  Beeba is afraid of monsters and she's been coming to me all upset saying "my no monster, my princess".  We've weaned her off of the pheonbarbitol and I've got my fingers crossed that there are no more seizures.  I think she has night terrors, she wakes up screaming in the middle of the night.  She's awake but she just screams and cries for a really long time.  It's very difficult to get her calmed down again.  She usually ends up in bed with me most nights, it's a very rare night that she dosn't.

Cold, wet and rainy

And that's just the weather.  So Ron told me this morning that we need to move immediately.  So, I'm back to looking for a new home, with little enthusiam, actually, with none at all.  Everything is such a mess right now.

Ron says that we're not going to pay the landlord nothing, but then I'm afraid that if we do that that he's going to take us to court for it.  The whole not paying rent thing sounded like a good idea at the time but now I'm not so sure.  I really don't know what Jason was talking about in his letter saying that if we didn't give him 30 days notice before we moved that we'd be responsible for the rent until the place was rent again...they're trying to do a quick sale on the house so it dosn't go into foreclosure, there won't be another renter!  I called the broker on the house yesterday too to find out what was going on and he told me that there's been an offer on the house that he's advised them to take but I guess they're having some problems with their second mortgage company.

More Rain...

We recieved a letter in the mail today from our "landlord" saying:

That he hasn't recieved any rent for the months of sept or oct.  He wants $1570 for sept and $1420 for oct.  And that it has "come to his attention that we are looking for new residence" and as per the rental agreement that we signed we must give 30 days notice prior to vacating the property or we'll be responsible for the rent until at which time the property is leased again.

Splendid...

When it rains it pours...

More bad news, I'm afraid...Ron checked his bank account on saturday morning and we were negative $100.  Apparently the IRS cleaned out his account, about $3,000.  I don't know why they took the money, I don't know how much more they want but I do know that they want more.  He called them this morning and was talking to them for awhile.  He won't tell me what's going on.  He's supposed to get paid on thursday but his bank account is frozen, so that's not really going to do us any good and I don't know how long it's going to stay frozen.  He has direct deposit and I'm afraid that once his pay check gets deposited in they're just going to take that too.

I thought it was for arrears in child support that they were taking it but he says no.  So I have no idea what's going on and am of course totally freaking out. I'm really hoping that we've got some time before the house forecloses cause we no longer have the money to move with.  Chocolate dosn't seem to be helping this problem any, at all.

Fitness update:  Mauri and I started out post natal boot camp this morning and we were working it.  I think we both did quite well, especially considering how out of shape I am.  I also did it yesterday...probably not such a good idea...now knowing that you're supposed to take a day off in between work outs.  So, now I am extremely sore, everywhere!
